G. research and Gabelli Asset Management are hosting a unique line-up of industry and legal professionals to address several fundamental issues facing the Funds industry today. Specifically, the conference will address the dynamics around Rule 852(b)(6) and its impact on taxes for fund investors in mutual funds and exchange traded funds (ETFs). A second panel, led by Bloomberg's Zachery Mider, will focus on the impact of "Heartbeat trades" in the ETF market. Finally, Macrae Sykes will moderate an "Active ETF Innovators Panel" which will provide an outlook for the product development in transparent and the recently announced Precidian semi-transparent ETF.
The event will have limited capacity. If interested in attending, please contact either Kevin Fitzpatrick or Macrae Sykes.
