Minim Named in Startup City Magazine's Most Promising IoT Startups 2019

MANCHESTER, N.H., June 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Minim, the cloud-managed WiFi and security platform, today announced it has been named in StartUp City Magazine's list of 15 Most Promising IoT Startups 2019. StartUp City is an independent news platform that delivers trends and inside looks at solutions in the U.S. tech startup ecosystem to over 29,000 print readers and 65,000 digital subscribers. Minim has been recognized for improving the home WiFi and IoT experience delivered by broadband service providers, an accomplishment for an industry sector that's challenged with an average NPS score of -1 in the U.S. (Satmetrix) and facing growing smart home support complexity.

"Minim is pleased to join this list of IoT innovators," said Minim Founder and CEO, Jeremy Hitchcock. "In a world where connected devices have outnumbered people, we help broadband service providers deliver safe and reliable home WiFi with an AI-driven platform. We are energized by StartUp City Magazine's recognition and the opportunity to share a few customer success stories in this month's issue."

This month's StartUp City Magazine issue focuses on the IoT sector and includes a feature on Minim titled, "Minim: AI-driven Smart Home Management and Security." The article contains an exclusive interview with Hitchcock on Minim's founding story, key industry challenges, and details on Minim's AI-driven platform, as well as input from customers Burlington Telecom and Washington Broadband.

"It has been an optimum pleasure for us to feature Minim in our annual IoT edition," said Kenneth Thomas, Managing Editor, StartUp City Magazine. "We chose Minim due to its Care Portal, Security Center, and Operations Center that collectively shorten support call times, reduce on-site visits ("truck rolls"), and improve customer satisfaction."

This recognition comes soon after Minim Cofounder and Chief Strategy Officer David Aronoff joined broadband industry and governmental leaders on the main stage at Wi-Fi World Congress USA in Washington, D.C. on May 15, 2019. Up next, Minim will be exhibiting at The Independent Show 2019 by the National Cable Television Cooperative and America's Communications Association on July 28-31, 2019 in Chicago, IL. In addition, Hitchcock will be interviewed in a fireside chat on IoT security at the CableLabs Summer Conference 2019 on August 5, 2019 in Keystone, CO.
