Media invitation - Tabling of the investigation report by the Québec Ombudsman


QUÉBEC CITY, June 12, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - Ombudsperson Marie Rinfret will release the findings of an investigation report concerning MAPAQ's handling of a disclosure, entitled Application of the Act to facilitate the disclosure of wrongdoings relating to public bodies: Major violations by the Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation.

The news conference will take place at 11:15 a.m. on June 13 in the Evelyn-Dumas Room, 1.30 of Édifice Pamphile-Le May (1035, rue des Parlementaires). It can be live-streamed from assnat.qc.ca.

Journalists who are members of the Press Gallery (or who have been accredited by it) can obtain a copy of the EMBARGOED report at Room RC-171 of the Parliament Building (1045, rue des Parlementaires) that morning between 8:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. The Deputy Ombudsman of Institutional Affairs and Prevention, Hélène Vallières, the Manager of Public Integrity Disclosure Investigations, Sylvie Tousignant, and the Public Integrity Investigator, Audray Tondreau, will be available to answer any technical or comprehension-related questions.
