BIO International Convention Begins Day Three with Jamie Dimon Keynote Address
The 2019
BIO International Convention, the premier life sciences event
running through June 6 at the Philadelphia Convention Center, will open
its third day of programming with a keynote from Jamie Dimon, Chairman
and CEO of JPMorgan Chase. Dimon will be interviewed by BIO President
and CEO Jim Greenwood on how emerging biotech companies can best
position themselves in the global economy. Dimon will also share insight
on how the industry can improve employee satisfaction and cultivate a
diverse and inclusive biotech community.
The day's programming will also include compelling sessions with
industry thought leaders, rising start-up companies as well as a
fireside chat with Merck Chairman and CEO Ken Frazier. During his
fireside chat, Frazier will discuss how Merck approaches investment in
research and how that translates to delivering innovative, lifesaving
medicines and vaccines and sustainable value for its stakeholders.

the various ways vaccine companies and partners can stimulate
continued growth of the vaccine business by fostering innovation with
new target vaccines, new technology and solutions to access issues
that will increase immunization rates.
