CounterFlow AI Partners with CloudShark to Optimize Security Analysts' Workflows

CounterFlow AI, the first security provider to deliver true intelligent packet capture capabilities, today announced a new partnership with QA Cafe, a leading provider of innovative test and analysis software solutions for communication and information technology teams, to integrate the firm's CloudShark technology into CounterFlow AI's solutions, improving threat hunting workflows for security practitioners.

CounterFlow's ThreatEye platform informs intelligent packet capture with patent-pending proprietary machine learning capabilities to conduct smart, real-time analysis on the data that matters most for critical threat research, hunting, forensics and mitigation activities. The company's approach delivers more automation while giving security teams greater confidence in identifying threats to reduce dwell time to minutes or even seconds.

CloudShark is a secure, modern, web-based packet capture analysis platform for network and SOC teams. With an interface familiar to users of the widely-used Wireshark analyzer, it delivers advanced tools without compromising ease of use. CloudShark provides an on-premise, searchable repository of captured data that speeds retrospective analysis and threat hunting. The ability to tag captures and share links to notes and comments facilitates cooperation across teams of analysts, even if working in separate locations or time zones. CloudShark's powerful threat vectors correlate security alerts with the raw packet data, giving analysts instant visibility into the underlying network traffic without the need to download software or network data to a local machine.

"Our customers use Wireshark every day, and the CloudShark team has done a fantastic job of evolving and improving on Wireshark's capabilities and user experience in a collaborative environment," said Randy Caldejon, CEO of CounterFlow AI. "By embedding CloudShark into our ThreatEye system, we provide users with unmatched intelligent packet capture so that they can conduct faster threat analysis within an environment they trust."

"We're very excited to work with the CounterFlow AI team," said Erica Johnson, CEO of QA Cafe. "Combining ThreatEye's ultrafast, intelligent capture capabilities with CloudShark's focus on packets and retrospective analysis really creates a seamless, transformative experience for network and security teams."
