Fifteen Mile Stream Gold Project - Participant Funding Allocated


OTTAWA, May 23, 2019 /CNW/ - The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) has allocated $281,873.35 in federal funds to four recipients to assist their participation in the environmental assessment of the proposed Fifteen Mile Stream Gold Project, located approximately 95 kilometres northeast of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The funding was made available through the Agency's Participant Funding Program and will assist the participation of the public and Indigenous groups in upcoming steps of the environmental assessment. The steps include reviewing and providing comments on the Environmental Impact Statement or on the summary thereof, the draft Environmental Assessment Report, and the potential environmental assessment conditions.
