Quotes

"The grief process is difficult for all Canadians, but can be a unique experience for Veterans and their Families. This is why it is so important to have services custom-made for them. I am impressed with the work the Canadian Virtual Hospice will do to help Veterans and their families navigate this sensitive period in their lives."
The Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence

"We commend Veterans Affairs for making this innovative investment in the wellbeing of Veterans and their families. The loss of comrades, exposure to casualties, and transitioning to civilian life, are common situations that trigger grief reactions. The Canadian Virtual Hospice will translate this funding into accessible digital tools tailored to the grief-related needs of former members of the Canadian Armed Forces, the RCMP and their families."
Shelly Cory, Executive Director, Canadian Virtual Hospice
