An exclusive North American presentation at the MNBAQ!

Let yourself be carried away by the poetic universe of Joan Miró (1893-1983), a Spanish painter and sculptor who created an emblematic body of 20th century art.

Fall under the spell of a period of maturity and rich and diverse creativity, from 1956 to 1981, when the artist settled of the island of Mallorca and pursued his research in a spirit of great freedom.

Nearly 200 paintings, sculptures and works on paper, including numerous large canvasses, have been assembled specially for the MNBAQ from the collections of the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró a Mallorca (Spain) and the Successió Miró.

The exhibition affords an outstanding glimpse of a timeless body of work as powerful as the Spanish sun.
