During the previous year, AlusionTM signed a strategic agreement with a Chinese distributor which has led to its inclusion in several completed projects in China and an ongoing pipeline of new orders. In the 8 months since the agreement was implemented, AlusionTM sales orders from the region have totalled approximately $1.3 million and Cymat anticipates continued buoyant growth of AlusionTM in the Chinese market. AlusionTM is unencumbered by the recent international tariff escalations that have affected many aluminum products.
AlusionTM has also begun advertising and marketing on ArchDailyTM, a world-leading architectural internet-based material and design source for builders, architects and designers. AlusionTM's presence on the site has generated over 3.7 million views in the first quarter of this year alone, helping to increase architectural inquiry and quoting activity for the brand.
Finally, driving on the strength of the AlusionTM brand, Cymat is poised to launch a premium version of the product, AlusionTM Plus, this summer. AlusionTM Plus will be manufactured from a new aluminum alloy and will provide enhanced material characteristics and aesthetics. AlusionTM panels are used for exterior cladding facades, interior walls and ceilings, and specialty design applications. With virtually unlimited choices and finishes, builders can create truly unique design statements.
