Hyster-Yale Materials Handling Mourns The Loss Of Long-Time Director And Audit Committee Chairman, John M. Stropki


CLEVELAND, May 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. (NYSE: HY) today announced that John M. Stropki, a long-time, valued member of the Company's board of directors and its Audit Committee Chairman, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 11, 2019. 

Mr. Stropki was elected to Hyster-Yale's board of directors in October 2013.  He served most recently as the Company's Audit Committee Chairman and as a member of the Compensation and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees.  As former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc., Mr. Stropki brought deep insight and knowledge of industrial businesses, as well as financial and leadership expertise to the Hyster-Yale Board.
