NCBAC Selected as Provider for Trilogy Health Services Caregiver Certification

CHICAGO, May 8, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Trilogy Health Services is a company that believes in the power of investing in its employees. Through its Fast Track Apprenticeship Program the company provides Trilogy team members with opportunities to expand their skill sets and grow their careers. The goal of the Fast Track Apprenticship Program is simple: to create the most well-trained and empathetic team of caregivers in the industry.

The National Certification Board for Alzheimer and Aging Care is providing Certified Alzheimer Caregiver Certification CACtm as a key element of the Trilogy program. As participants in the Fast Track Apprenticeship Program complete related coursework, receive impactful mentoring, perform on-the-job training and earn their CAC credential, they become eligible for incentives provided by Trilogy, including promotions and wage increases.

NCBAC's Certified Alzheimer Caregiver Certification is based on extensive data gathered from caregivers throughout the country. This Job Task Analysis, which represents a true picture of the daily work being performed by caregivers, was then organized into a Content Guideline to inform training and create a blueprint for the certification examination.

According to Todd Schmiedeler, PhD, Senior Vice President of the Trilogy Foundation, "Trilogy has an ongoing commitment to having the most competent caregiver team in the industry. NCBAC's Certified Alzheimer Caregiver Certification is one way we achieve a common level of training and knowledge among our caregiver team."

Donna Surges Tatum, PhD, CAE, CAEd, President of NCBACtm adds, "We're honored that Trilogy has selected our Certified Alzheimer Caregiver CACtm for their Fast Track Apprenticeship Program. For more than a decade we've had a mission to help individuals achieve high standards in elder care.
