Uplive Fans Mourn and Grieve Over Nispey Hussle's Tragic Death

LOS ANGELES, May 2, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Nipsey Hussle was not a household name before he was shot and killed on March 31 in Los Angeles, but he was not a stranger to Uplive. It was only two months ago Uplive sponsored a Block Enterprise event featuring Nipsey. Nipsey was referring Uplive as the latest and coolest social media platform at that time. Uplive fans still can't get over the sudden death of their star member Nipsey Hussle.

Nipsey's April 11 memorial service, boasted an impressive array of speakers. Artists like Jhene Aiko performed in Hussle's memory; Snoop Dogg and Stevie Wonder gave eulogies. Former President Barack Obama even sent a letter offering condolences to Hussle's family, commending a life well-lived.

"While most people look at the Crenshaw neighborhood where he grew up and see only gangs, bullets and despair, Nipsey saw potential," the former president wrote. "He saw hope. He saw a community that even through its flaws taught him to always keep going."

A procession following the funeral reportedly attracted more than 21,000 fans, walking alongside Hussle's casket. Many more from Uplive mourned the death of Nipsey Hussle as well.

Nipsey Hussle, born Ermias Asghedom, is a Los Angeles native and one of the most respected rappers in recent years.

Father, Rapper, business man and community leader, @nipseyhussle never backed down. He committed his all and Uplive will mourn him. Prayers to his family. Rest In Peace.
