MONTRÉAL, April 24, 2019 /CNW/ - Media representatives are advised that the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, and the Minister responsible for Parks Canada, Catherine McKenna, will be hosting the Nature Champions Summit on April 24 and 25, 2019, in Montréal, Québec, Canada. 

The Summit will bring together major international leaders from government, business, foundations, Indigenous communities, and non-governmental organizations to accelerate global nature protection forward.  

On April 24, 2019, media representatives are invited to attend the opening remarks at Minister McKenna's welcome reception for the Summit, along with Minister Benoît Charette, Mayor Valérie Plante and Dr. Cristiana Pa?ca Palmer. Filmmaker Alexandra Cousteau will also deliver a keynote address.
