Sysdig Named as 2019 Bay Area Best Places to Work by San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal

Sysdig, Inc., the cloud-native visibility and security company, has been recognized as a winner of the 2019 Bay Area Best Places To Work, an awards program presented by the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Sysdig ranked eighth, an exceptionally high ranking that is based on an independent internal employee survey conducted by the San Francisco Business Times and Quantum. The survey measures employee satisfaction across categories such as fun, collaborative culture, solid compensation and benefits offerings, and other amenities as well as management practices.

Since the company's founding in 2013, Sysdig has been committed to providing employees with a collaborative and innovative work environment. According to survey results, Sysdig employees value their leaders who lead by example, the company culture that values respect and kindness, and the company focus on living joyously. Sysdig currently has six offices -- San Francisco, Belgrade, London, and Raleigh ? the last two were opened in 2018 ? and the company announced today the opening of two new offices in Italy and Spain.

"At Sysdig, we believe happy employees will result in a positive, productive company. We are highly focused on open communication at Sysdig. At all levels of the company, we are sharing and we are collaborative. This mindset, along with great compensation, benefits, freedom, and amenities has made Sysdig a great place to work. Our motto is ?dig deeper' and we embrace this mindset in all facets of our work, including employee satisfaction," said Suresh Vasudevan, chief executive officer at Sysdig.

Fueled by a $68.5 million Series D funding round led by Insight Venture Partners in September, with participation from previous investors, Bain Capital Ventures and Accel, Sysdig has focused the last six months on hiring engineering, marketing, and sales talent around the world as the company extends its offerings to new enterprises. This announcement reaffirms that as the company grows, it has retained the open, communicative, rewarding, and fun atmosphere the company was founded on.

Sysdig has won a string of awards over the last two months, including three 2019 Cyber Defense Magazine InfoSec Awards. The Sysdig Cloud-Native Visibility and Security Platform was recognized with the Publisher's Choice Vulnerability Management and the Breakout Compliance InfoSec Awards for 2019, and Falco, the open source container security project created by Sysdig, took home the Hot Company Open Source Security InfoSec Award. Sysdig also won the Best DevOps Security Tool award from Computing DevOps Excellence Awards 2019. The company's security tool ? Sysdig Secure ? was awarded the CRN 10 Hottest Container Security Tools in 2019 award earlier this month.

Sysdig provides technologies designed to monitor, secure, and troubleshoot container environments. With the just launched Sysdig Visibility and Security Platform (VSP) 2.0, the company has unified visibility, security, and forensics ? which historically have been managed by individual tools ? to provide enterprises with the first and only unified view of the risk, health, and performance of their cloud-native environments. With the rich-data platform, service owners, DevOps, and security teams have access to a single source for performance metrics, compliance dashboards, security events, and more to eliminate risk and resolve problems fast. By providing one platform that solves several problems, enterprises have fewer tools to manage and monitor for risk. Sysdig launched in 2013 with sysdig, an open source container and microservices monitoring tool and has since grown to include several open source and commercial technologies.
