Local Church Champions Hope and Change for People across the Region with Community Outreach, Easter Egg Hunt and "Raised to Life" Celebration at Hylton Memorial Chapel

WOODBRIDGE, Va., April 19, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Harvest Life Church is sharing the message of being "Raised to Life", invigorating the Prince William Community with a fresh sense of hope this Easter.

There are two community outreach initiatives in progress ? a Food Drive and a Care Package Drive. In partnership with ACTS shelter and other community organizations, Harvest Life is inviting everyone to help families in need by donating non-perishable food items and select personal care items.

"We want to share the love of Jesus and bless our community through these outreach initiatives and through our Easter events this weekend," said Bishop Lyle Dukes, Senior Pastor of the Harvest Life Church.

Volunteers will assemble care packages and prepare food donations for distribution on Saturday, April 20th at 10:00 am at the Hylton Memorial Chapel.

The Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 11:00 am at Hylton Memorial Chapel. This festive Easter tradition for children, age 3 to 5th grade, will also include moon bounces, funnel cakes, cotton candy, an appearance from the Easter Bunny and more! Food will be available for sale.

Harvest Life Church is preparing to receive thousands of people from the surrounding communities for Sunday Worship Services at Hylton Memorial Chapel, 14640 Potomac Mills Road, Woodbridge, Virginia, at 9:00 and 11:30 am on Easter Sunday, April 21st.

"There is no power greater than unity," said Pastor Deborah Dukes, Senior Pastor. "That's part of the reason the local church is so critical to the health and well-being of the community ? we're going to pull together to help provide resources for Prince William County residents. We want to help improve their quality of life spiritually and physically."

On Easter Sunday, there will be an Easter celebration, with a message of empowerment, Music and Ministry Arts performances, Youth and Adult Choirs, the Harvest Life Children's Choir and more.
