Englobe Reintegrates Réseau Environnement

QUEBEC CITY, April 18, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - Englobe confirms that it is reintegrating Réseau Environnement, Quebec's largest group of environmental specialists. The announcement was made today at Réseau Environnement's annual general meeting in Montreal.

"As one of the main leaders of the industry, we are pleased to join Réseau Environnement once again. We are convinced that it is the ideal vehicle to defend the interests of Englobe and all of Quebec's environmental industry," said Englobe Co-Chair, Mr. Alain Robichaud.

The upcoming publication of the new regulation on the disposal of contaminated soils, announced last week by the Minister of the Environment and the Fight Against Climate Change, Mr. Benoit Charrette, and whose fine details remain to be known, will be one of the first projects on which Englobe and Réseau Environnement will work together. The protection of an innovative industry that has developed cutting-edge expertise in Quebec and which is exported all over the world, as well as the considerable environmental damage that has been caused by several years of illegal disposal of contaminated soils, are at the heart of this case of utmost importance for Englobe.

Englobe's Vice President - Environmental Operations, Mrs. Sonia Leonard, will be the company's main representative on various Réseau Environnement committees. Her dynamism and impressive track record will be valuable assets in defending the interests of Quebec's environmental sector.
