Aerospace Engine Supplier Quality, a Program of SAE ITC, Hartford Supplier Forum Success


WARRENDALE, Pa., April 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The AESQ Hartford Supplier Forum attracted a record attendance of 130. The Aerospace Engine Supplier Quality (AESQ) Strategy Group Supplier Forum was hosted by Pratt & Whitney in Hartford, Connecticut on April 10, 2019.

The Welcome Address was presented by Jill M. Albertelli, VP Quality, Pratt & Whitney. Richard Gallagher, Supplier Quality Leader, Boeing, presented a Voice of the Customer perspective.
Several standards related case studies were presented by GKN, Parker, Birken Manufacturing, PCC and Collins Aerospace. In addition, Mr. Ludovic Chevet, Lead Supply Chain Manager, Airbus, focused his remarks on human factors and their role in supply chain issues.

Supplier Forum attendees learned the latest information on the SAE G-22 Committee's AS13xxx series of aerospace engine supplier quality standards. This series was developed to set common quality requirements for the global aerospace engine supply chain to operate more efficiently.

Those in attendance were able to share their views and experiences with the current set of standards as well as provide feedback for inclusion in new standards focused on problem solving, quality audit requirements, supplier management and quality management requirements.
