From April 18 to September 2 - An interactive spider exhibition arrives at the Science Centre

MONTREAL, April 16, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - For the first time in its history, the Montréal Science Centre is hosting live specimens thanks to the interactive exhibition: Spiders ? From Fear to Fascination.

An exhibition woven with interactivity
From the huge Goliath Birdeater to the fascinating Ogrefaced Spider, Montrealers will be able to observe 15 living species and more than 250 naturalised specimens from around the globe. The exhibition also includes several interactive stations offering augmented reality, a courtship dance competition and a quiz created by the Centre's education team.

A closer look at these fascinating creatures 
Did you know that some spiders dance? That they make traps of amazing complexity and diversity to capture their prey? These are some of the remarkable facts that visitors of all ages can discover this summer at the Science Centre. After a very successful stop in Toronto, this Australian exhibition will help demystify spiders in a fun and playful way. What a great opportunity to learn more about these fascinating creatures!

Admission to Spiders includes access to the Centre's 4 permanent exhibitions as well as Water in the Universe, an installation containing a touchable moon rock on loan from NASA, which will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing in July.
