LEAVENWORTH, Kan., April 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- U-Haul® is revealing details for its adaptive reuse of a vacated former Kmart® store that will be transformed into the Company's first full-service facility in Leavenworth. U-Haul acquired the 12.91-acre property on March 6.

U-Haul Moving & Storage of Fort Leavenworth at 4820 S. 4th St. is currently operating out of a temporary showroom, offering truck and trailer sharing along with moving supplies.

Extensive renovations will soon render more than 500 climate-controlled indoor self-storage units with high-tech security features at affordable price points.
