Nanotech Security Corp. Announces Shareholder Meeting Results

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 10, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Nanotech Security Corp. (TSXV: NTS) (OTCQX: NTSFF) ("Nanotech" or the "Company"), a leading innovator in the research, creation and production of nano-optic structures and colour-shifting materials used in authentication and brand enhancement, announces the results from its annual general meeting of shareholders (the "Meeting") held on April 9, 2019.

All seven nominees, Doug Blakeway, Troy Bullock, Hyonmyong (Hoch) Cho, Bozena Kaminska, D. Neil McDonnell, Ronan McGrath, and Bernhard Zinkhofer, were elected. The directors will remain in office until the next annual meeting of shareholders, or until their successors are elected or appointed.

In other business conducted at the Meeting, the shareholders reappointed KPMG LLP as auditors, approved the continuation of the Company's equity incentive plan, and approved amendments to the Company's RSU portion of the equity incentive plan.

The Company today granted 300,000 options to the non-executive directors of the Company. The options are exercisable for five years at $0.64, subject to customary regulatory approval and vesting conditions.
