Chapel of the Flowers' CEO and Staff Walk for Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada
LAS VEGAS, March 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In the early-morning hours of March 9th, before helping dozens of couples tie-the-knot later in the day, the staff at Chapel of the Flowers had a very special project that benefited children. The employees at one of the most famous wedding chapels in the world participated in the annual Walk-For-Wishes for Southern Nevada.
Chapel of the Flowers had 24 employees, along with family members (including the four-legged, furry ones) walk with other supporters of Make-A-Wish Foundation. The team raised nearly $1,800 with all funds designated for wishes that will be granted to local children battling critical illnesses.
Donne Kerestic, CEO at Chapel of the Flowers, walked with the team of marketers, wedding planners, photographers, pastors and administrators in purple and gold t-shirts. The Walk-For-Wishes, presented by Allegiant, was held at Town Square Las Vegas and featured appearances by first-responders, superheroes and princesses and local Las Vegas celebrities. The family-friendly event offered food, free painting for kids, a petting zoo and giveaways.
UFC, The Cosmopolitan, Caesars Entertainment, Williams-Sonoma, Mix94.1, NBC3 and Telemundo were just a few of the sponsors of Walk-For-Wishes. The 2019 Walk-For-Wishes goal was $450,000, and thanks to generous donors in the community, the total amount raised was $471,878.
