The event will honor the achievements of powerful women and will benefit Sheba Medical Center's new pediatric laser burn center ? the first of its kind in all of Israel.

A successful businesswoman and philanthropist of Iranian descent, Hakim has been instrumental in building relationships between Sheba Medical Center and the Persian Jewish community.

This year's luncheon will support the first pediatric laser center in all of Israel. As part of Sheba Medical Center's National Burn Center, this state-of-the-art facility will transform the lives of children suffering from severe burns by treating their painful scars with painless, groundbreaking pediatric laser technology.
