Organized in collaboration with several partners, the event is expecting a wide range of around 400 participants (federal and provincial governments, municipalities, Indigenous leaders, private companies, non-profit organizations, students and so on) from the healthcare, education, tourism, conservation, and recreation sectors.

On the topic Parks for all and all for parks, this conference will be an opportunity to share good practices, expertise, and innovative initiatives in the areas of conservation, social commitment, and connecting to nature, tourism and economic benefits of parks. The themes are intended to draw attention to and highlight the many benefits of parks and protected areas.

"We are very pleased to welcome in Quebec City parks community members from all across Canada, and more broadly, people who are interested in the benefits of nature. The Conference will be an excellent opportunity to collaborate, exchange and learn from each other through different points of view."
Catherine Grenier, Vice President for National Parks Operations, Sépaq

"Canada's protected areas are the very heart of this country and are important for so many reasons ? for the environment, for the wildlife that call them home, for our health and well-being, and for our cherished time together as families and friends. Parks Canada is proud to be a partner of the Canadian Parks Conference that brings together multiple levels of government, Indigenous peoples, conservationists, businesses, and many other dedicated people to encourage and promote Parks for all and all for parks. This conference represents a valuable opportunity to work together on behalf of all Canadians to preserve the environment, protect Canada's cultural heritage, support the economic benefits of these places to communities, and help Canadians connect with these incredible places."
Maria Stevens, Acting Vice-President External Relations and Visitor  Experience, Parks Canada

"This Conference will be a valued occasion to convene representatives and leaders from the parks community throughout Canada to enable us to strengthen relationships and grow connections."
Dawn Carr, Executive Director, Canadian Parks Council

"This Conference represents the evolving and growing partnership between municipal parks and the broader parks community.  It will provide a unique opportunity for professional development and networking."
CJ Noble, Executive Director, Canada Parks and Recreation Association
