Introducing The Independent Senior Foundation's Inaugural Gala, Benefiting The Foundation Assisting Seniors

LAS VEGAS, March 14, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Independent Senior Foundation will be hosting their Inaugural Gala to benefit The Foundation Assisting Seniors on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the spectacular M Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. During this event, they'll announce their Centenarian of the Year Award to celebrate a special senior over 100 years old.

This exciting evening of philanthropy will include dinner, as well as both a live and silent auction, featuring entertainment by Mark O'Toole. The event will highlight the role that The Foundation Assisting Seniors plays in supporting the Las Vegas senior community.

The Foundation Assisting Seniors was established in 2002 as a 501(c)(3) public benefit charitable corporation. This organization was formed because the founders witnessed firsthand how their own parents and neighbors struggled with things such as transportation and normal household chores during their golden years. Their mission is to assist?at no charge?seniors in times of illness, recovery, confinement at home, coping with the loss of a loved one, and other challenges.

The Inaugural Gala will bring the community together in support of these two organizations and their mission to improve the lives of seniors. Refreshments and cocktails will be served at the event. Cocktail attire is advised.

The Centenarian Award was created to acknowledge citizens in the community who reached a significant milestone of celebrating their 100th birthday.
