Blue Star Software Promotes Austin Norby to Director of Cyber Initiatives


FALLS CHURCH, Va., March 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Star Software, providers of software engineering services to the United States Intelligence Community, announced that Austin Norby will be taking on the role of Director of Cyber Initiatives. Norby's prior position at Blue Star was computer scientist, a role he also held at the U.S. Department of Defense for four years.

As Director of Cyber Initiatives, Norby will be responsible for all aspects of the company's cyber efforts, including launching a new commercial cybersecurity consulting service that leverages the talents of the former National Security Agency (NSA) security experts at Blue Star, a team that is highly credentialed by the information security industry's most trusted sources, including (ISC)², the International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants (EC-Council), and the SANS Institute.  Blue Star's commercial cybersecurity services will include comprehensive penetration tests of enterprise networks, source code analysis of critical applications, and reverse engineering, among others.
