Carolyn Doerr Recognized with National Pioneer Spirit Award

But in February of last year, Carolyn was diagnosed with a rare cancer and, in June, had a recurrence and had to undergo chemotherapy for six months. In honor of her perseverance and focus on excellence, even while facing challenges, Caring Transitions presented Doerr with the company's Bruce Treadway Pioneer Spirit Award at the company's national conference on February 19, 2019. The award is named after Bruce Treadway, the very first Caring Transitions franchisee, whose drive and perseverance to develop his franchise in completely uncharted territory helped build Caring Transitions from day one. In the years since he launched, Treadway has become a system-wide inspiration.

Although she may not have hit the goals she set in early 2018, Doerr and her team were still able to grow the business by 10 percent and finish as a Top 20 Franchise.
