Portland Spirit Announces All New Columbia Gorge Bigfoot Adventure Cruises Coming This Summer
PORTLAND, Ore., Feb. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Bigfoot is the hide-and-seek champion of the world. With the help of the star of Cliff Barackman, Animal Planet's "Finding Bigfoot," passengers will try their best to find him. Guests will Travel from Portland to the Heart of the Columbia Gorge on a seven-hour, 140-mile round trip excursion. They will see sights such as Beacon Rock, Bridge of the Gods, Multnomah Falls, Bonneville and Dam, and many more. Portland Spirit is the only riverboat company that offers daily trips through the Bonneville Locks with passengers being raised as much as 70 feet out of the lower Columbia River.
Passengers will explore the history and lore of Bigfoot and his presence in the Pacific Northwest. Learn about known sightings along the river while getting the inside scoop on this mysterious creature's habits. This interactive cruise includes live narration with a detailed explanation of landmarks as well as the history of the Columbia and Willamette Rivers.
This is all day trip includes a one-hour stop in Cascade Lock's where passengers can enjoy a scenic lunch on the waterfront at The Locks Grill, where they can enjoy signature Bigfoot bites.
