VANCOUVER, Jan. 17, 2019 /CNW/ - It's going to be a great night! Arthritis Research Canada is a world leader in finding answers and saving lives for the over 6 million Canadians affected by arthritis. Join us for the 7th annual ARThritis Soirée - May 22, 2019 at The Roof, Hotel Vancouver for a special evening to benefit critically-needed arthritis research. Early bird tickets are on sale now, purchase yours at arthritissoiree.ca.

Why an ARThritis Soirée? Research has shown that art adds to one's wellbeing and therefore is a great element in managing chronic diseases on a holistic level. Each year the Soiree features a different art form to add excitement and depth to the event. Arthritis Research Canada is thrilled that Mike Reno ? lead singer of the Juno award-winning rock band, Loverboy along with an all-star band will take the stage for this year's art form: music.

The ARThritis Soirée is co-hosted by Fred Lee, CBC Early Edition and The Province's Man About Town, and Sonia Deol, Global BC Reporter and Anchor. The evening is presented as an elegant cocktail reception, allowing guests to circulate and network while enjoying fabulous hors d'oeuvres, champagne and wine, an amazing raffle, exciting live and silent auctions, and of course an unforgettable performance by Mike Reno that will include some of Loverboy's greatest hits.

Arthritis Research Canada is grateful to have the support of Macdonald Realty as Presenting Sponsor. "We are proud to highlight the importance of arthritis research for the millions of Canadians who struggle with this disease," said Lynn Hsu, Macdonald Real Estate Group's president and CEO. "Arthritis is the leading cause of workplace disability and affects 1 in 6 Canadians. Research is needed to improve the lives of people living with this disease in Canada and around the world."
