Internet of Things and Medical Technology Advancements Create New Software Testing Needs

REDDING, Calif., Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- With the ever expanding amount of new technologies in our lives, and our increasing reliance on it, making sure that tech is reliable and error free is more important than ever. The biggest example of this is the emergent market of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies that integrate software into regular household appliances such as refrigerators, lights, thermostats, etc.

Competition in this field is fierce, and while being first to market, or at least early, is important, usability and reliability are two of the biggest keys to success for companies developing IoT products. In a lot of cases companies only get one shot at a product launch to get user buy in, and especially with IoT devices, ease of use and set up for the end user can make or break a product and/or company.

Shasta QA, a U.S. Based outsourced software testing company, recognized these advancements and has recently launched a new website announcing their expanded services to include Internet of Things Testing, as well as testing services for other emerging markets such as Medical Device Testing, Industry Specific testing, and Investment Assurance for Venture Capitalists looking to ensure their ROI.

"We've actually been offering these services to our clients for years, but recently we have seen a noticeable spike in demand and have launched our new site to reflect that," says Eric Stevenson, Director of QA. "Some aspects of software testing are universal, however IoT or medical device testing have their own specific set of complications and nuances that can only be learned through experience, and we've fortunately been able to bring that kind of experience to the table"

You can find Shasta QA's new site at http://www.ShastaQA.com. There you'll find the latest services and resources, including the aforementioned categories.

"Technology is only becoming a bigger and bigger part of our lives," says Stevenson. "There will always be a need for tech advancements, which means there will always be a need to test it, that need just evolves as the tech does, and our new site and services reflect where we see that going."

In addition to the new Markets tab on the website, you'll find additional information, such as Who We Are, which explains how Shasta is different from traditional outsourcing options. Learn about us and see for yourself the improvements we've made to the website: http://www.ShastaQA.com.
