LifeStation launches Find My Loved One for Senior Medical Alerts

UNION, N.J., Dec. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- LifeStation today announced the availability of Find My Loved One, a premium feature available on its Mobile Medical Alert system. Find My Loved One gives caregivers the ability to locate a loved one at any time. With the ability to easily check in on their loved ones, this feature provides unmatched additional peace of mind for children, relatives, and caregivers.

Here's how it works:

1. For Mobile Medical Alert users with Find My Loved One enabled, anyone on the emergency contact list can text "Find" and the first name of the user to a dedicated number.

2. The Find My Loved One service will then use a proprietary combination of GPS Satellite and WiFi location data to quickly and accurately locate your loved one's Mobile Medical Alert.

3. A text message reply is sent with the address and link to view the location on a map.

"Today's seniors want to continue to live more active lifestyles, which is great for their physical and mental health," said David Span, Director of Marketing at LifeStation. "Adding Find My Loved One to a Mobile Medical Alert provides safety for seniors while giving peace of mind to their caregivers."

Find My Loved One is perfect for the active senior who might also be somewhat forgetful. Let's say your mom is out and about but hasn't told you where she is. This feature lets you check up on her with a simple text message. So long as she is wearing her Mobile Medical Alert or has it in her purse, you will be able to locate her and put yourself at ease. If your loved one can't remember where they left their Mobile Medical Alert, Find My Loved One can help you locate the device.
