AerNos Announces Its Next Generation Nano Gas Sensor Technology

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- AerNos, an innovator in nano gas sensors, today announced AerN²S, its next-generation nano gas sensor technology, which offers an advancement in the core technology used to build tiny, accurate, and affordable gas sensors for air quality monitoring, hazardous gas detection and other e-nose applications.

AerNos AerN²S Technology represents a significant evolution in the MEMS circuitry, hybrid-nanostructures, nanoelectronics, machine learning, algorithms and nanofabrication for high volume manufacturing of its gas sensor modules. These advances, which include specific techniques and processes to manipulate hybrid nanostructures at the atomic level, increase the selectivity and sensitivity of AerNos sensors at ambient temperatures. AerNos nano gas sensors use doped and manipulated nanomaterials to target specific gases and it's unique sensor array design allows for simultaneous detection of multiple gases to parts-per-billion (ppb) levels.

AerN²S represents advances in four scientific disciplines: (1) hybrid nanostructure gas sensor arrays, (2) nano engineering and electronics, (3) data science, machine learning, predictive analysis and sensor algorithms, and (4) nanofabrication for rapid development and high volume manufacturing.

"We are deploying AerNos AerN²S Technology in a wide range of B2B Internet of Things (IoT) applications including Smart Homes, Smart Cities, Transportation, Industrial/Oil and Gas, and Health industries," said Sundip R. Doshi, CEO of AerNos. "I'm proud that our team is harnessing the power of nanotechnology for doing good ? allowing people to better understand and manage their surroundings and improve their health."

AerNos nano gas sensor modules come in multiple forms and configurations. Key features include:

AerNos gas sensor modules support multiple standard communication protocols for easy plug and play integration into consumer and commercial products such as standalone monitoring devices, non-stationary devices (drones, industrial robots, construction equipment, etc.), city infrastructures, modes of transportation, wearables, smartphones and Internet of Things (IoT).

Designed for high volume manufacturing, AerNos nano gas sensors address the need for reliable, accurate and application specific gas sensors for the more than 50 billion connected devices worldwide expected by 2020. AerNos anticipates opening up new markets for its nano gas sensors, significantly changing the global revenue landscape with more than 10 billion connected devices benefiting from its product offerings.
