Holiday Events at Silverton Casino Hotel Brings A Visit from Santa

LAS VEGAS, Dec. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The holiday season is in full swing at Silverton Casino with unique ways to visit Santa and enjoy holiday food favorites with friends and family.

Underwater Santa is back with his helpers inside the Aquarium each Saturday and Sunday in December. Families are encouraged to visit Underwater Santa from 12 p.m. ? 1:15 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. ? 3:15 p.m. on weekends in December through the 23rd. This experience is free to all guests.

Guests that are looking for a photo opportunity with Santa may visit him outside of Seasons Buffet on December 9th and 16th. Photo packages are $12 and partial proceeds from the photos will be donated to Goodie Two Shoes Foundation. Each photo package purchased will receive a coupon for a $5 discount for Seasons Buffet to be used on the date of purchase.

There are also free photo opportunities outside on The Green at the front of the hotel. Guests can take photos by the 34' tall majestic pine tree decked out in over 750 ornaments and hundreds of LED lights. The two gas fire pits in The Green are designed for groups to sit around and enjoy the dancing water feature with eight different jet show sequences that run from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.

Enjoy three different special menus for Christmas dining on Tuesday, December 25 at Twin Creeks Steakhouse, Sundance Grill or Seasons Buffet.

Twin Creeks Steakhouse is presenting a three-course menu on Christmas day from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The first course is a choice of Cauliflower Veloute or Oysters Rockefeller. Choose between Osso Bucco, John Dory or Pan seared duck breast for the entrée. The final course is a choice of apple-cranberry cobbler or Santa's milk and cookies. Reservations are recommended for this $48 per person menu.

For a festive family-friendly holiday meal, Sundance Grill will be serving up a three-course menu on Tuesday, December 25 from 11 a.m. ? midnight for $24.99 per person. The first course starts with a soup or salad. The main course features a petit filet of beef with a red wine reduction, roasted fingerling potatoes, and petit vegetable medley. A peppermint brownie trifle completes this delicious meal.

Take the stress out of the holidays dining at Seasons Buffet between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Christmas day. Guests will enjoy holiday favorites such as mustard glazed ham, smoked New York striploin, herb crusted turkey and hot smoked salmon from the carving station. Other delicious favorites include oysters Rockefeller, spiced pumpkin soup, Osso Bucco, peel and eat shrimp, maple glazed pork loin with roasted root vegetables and fingerling potatoes. An assortment of holiday desserts will be available featuring holiday pies, Christmas cookies, sliced yule log, and eggnog cheesecake. Silverton Rewards Club members receive a discounted price of $23.99 and the regular holiday buffet price is $25.99 and includes house wine.
