With Addition of Karting Miami, Dezerland Park Becomes Miami's Largest Indoor Theme Park

NORTH MIAMI, Fla., Dec. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Dezerland Park in North Miami announced today that the Family Entertainment Center (FEC) continues to grow, adding attractions and entertainment, and offering premier event space. Currently Miami's largest indoor theme park, and located at 14401 NE 19^th Avenue in North Miami, Florida, Dezerland Park first opened its doors during the summer, and since then has added countless new attractions, classes and games for all ages.

Dezerland Park now offers the following:

• Dezer Gymnastics Training Center (DGTC) managed by former European Gymnastics Champion Aurelia Bentov;
• Certified Ninja Warrior Training Course featuring trampoline park, rock climbing wall and ropes course;
• "Miami Arcade" featuring 200-plus games, mini-bowling, simulator race cars, redemption games, cabinet games and pin-ball;
• "Virtual Reality Park Miami," which features 13,000 square-feet of 20 individual machines, a virtual arena, and more than 50 state-of-the-art 5D games and rides ? making it the largest in Florida;
• "Airborne Escape" (Parkour) with beginner, intermediate and advanced levels and certified coaches for training;
• "Circus Studio" featuring aerial silks and acro-bungee;
• American Classics Café, which offers American cuisine; and
• "Karting Miami," which will open in early 2019, and feature 50,000 square feet of track and space with LED flashing lights, three race tracks for adults and kids, and electric powered and open-wheeled race cars reaching 30-40 mph.

These attractions are on top of the existing event space, dance and karate studios, classrooms and kid space. Dezerland Park is now Miami's largest indoor theme park. Eventually the location will also feature indoor skydiving, an indoor zip-line course as well as outdoor paintball.

In addition to the entertainment component of Dezerland Park, the facility offers group events, team building, corporate gatherings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, summer and after-school camp, gymnastics, martial arts, aerial silks, dance and trampoline fitness, kids and adults classes, and more. Recently, artist Fat Joe performed for a private event and Lebron James hosted his son's birthday party at Dezerland Park.
