Sherwood Ford Partners with Strathcona County Christmas Bureau to Sponsor Stuff-A-Giant Truck Event

SHERWOOD PARK, Alberta, Nov. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Christmas season is upon the residents of Edmonton once again, and local dealership Sherwood Ford is doing its part to ensure that everyone in the community is able to feel the spirit of cheer and goodwill that is so prevalent this time of year. The dealership has announced its partnership with the Strathcona County Christmas Bureau in sponsoring its annual Stuff-A-Giant Truck Event for 2018.

Throughout the month of November, and into the early stages of December, all residents of Edmonton, Sherwood Park and surrounding areas are encouraged to visit Sherwood Ford. There, they will find a new Ford pickup, and they are encouraged to drop off any goods and toys that can benefit the less fortunate in Strathcona County. Accepted items include books, blankets, toiletries, baby items, non-perishable food items, gift cards and toys, among others. Locals should also be aware that there are numerous donation boxes and "big boots" around Sherwood Park where they can drop off their goods, in case they are not able to make it into the dealership.

Sherwood Ford has also announced its Test Drive Event, also intended to benefit the programs offered by the Strathcona County Christmas Bureau. For each time a prospective customer schedules a test drive of a Ford model at Sherwood Ford, the dealership will donate $10 towards the Strathcona County Christmas Bureau. As with its Stuff-A-Giant Truck program, the dealership encourages customers to make monetary donations on the Bureau's website, or in the "big boots" located throughout the Sherwood Park community.
