Future Motion Launches Onewheel Gemini Firmware, Introducing Custom Shaping Platform and Social Sharing

SANTA CRUZ, Calif., Nov. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Future Motion, maker of the popular Onewheel electric board, today announced the new Gemini firmware, featuring Custom Shaping, a new, in-app platform that enables users to completely customize how their board rides in order to suit their preferences. The company also launched social sharing in the Onewheel app (iOS/Android) today, allowing riders to share their recorded rides including photos, routes, and distances traveled on their boards with others via social media. Onewheel, a board already known to provide an incredibly smooth, superior riding experience, now enables riders to fine-tune the board's firmware through the Custom Shaping platform to make the experience even more personal and enjoyable. The Custom Shaping platform allows users to tailor their board's:

• Carveability - change the sensitivity of the board (from loose to tight) while turning and carving.
• Stance Profile - control the baseline tilt angle of the board. Change your ride from nose up to nose down, or anything in-between.
• Aggressiveness - change how strongly the board reacts to your movements. Low aggressiveness will feel more plush, while high aggressiveness will feel tight and responsive.
