SummitSync Secures $4.8M in Series A Funding and Announces Executive Leadership Appointment

NEW YORK, Nov. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- SummitSync, a meeting automation platform that helps B2B companies drive more revenue and schedule more meetings at conferences and trade shows, recently announced that it has secured $4.8 million in Series A funding from Loeb Enterprises, and welcomes the addition of Jimmy Chin as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Each year, $570B is spent on sponsoring, attending, or traveling to conferences and trade shows. This represents the largest single line item on most B2B marketers budgets. SummitSync helps enterprises get more out of every dollar invested in a conference or trade show while boosting sales and marketing productivity.

"The ability for companies to create more revenue while tracking ROI on their presence at conferences and trade shows aids in smarter spending choices and provides hard data to support event attendance," said Michael Loeb, President and CEO of Loeb Enterprises. "SummitSync is the perfect blend of technology enabling people to come together. The meeting automation platform simultaneously creates more revenue opportunity while putting time back in the hands of marketing and sales teams, allowing them to have targeted, meaningful in-person meetings."

SummitSync's deep-learning algorithm, which was developed in partnership with Microsoft, identifies the conferences and trade shows an organization's clients and prospects are attending, allowing them to maximize their conference and trade show sales and marketing budgets to drive the highest return on in-person meetings.

Jimmy Chin joins SummitSync as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. With nearly 20 years of sales, digital marketing, and e-commerce acquisition experience, he will oversee SummitSync's sales and marketing development and demand generation, and amplify the platform as a leader in meeting automation.

"With this round of funding, we can help our customers turn conferences and trade shows from boondoggles to productive business efforts and show the ROI on the effort," said John Corrigan, founder and CEO of SummitSync. "Having Jimmy on board amplifies our network and reach, allowing us to help more B2B companies meet their meeting goals. The end of corporate tourism might be near."
