The protective tree accessory provides an effective way to prevent deer, birds, squirrels and even beetles from eating foliage on a tree or shrub. In doing so, it offers added protection and peace of mind. It also could provide healthier, stronger trees. The invention features a durable design that is easy to install and use so it is ideal for households and landscapers. Additionally, it is producible in design variations and a prototype is available. Units can be connected for added protection over large areas.

The inventor described the invention design. "My design protects foliage and does not interfere with the appearance of a landscape, possibly enhancing it."

The original design was submitted to the Pittsburgh office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
