Jenzy Adds Ten New Shoe Brands to Children's Foot-Sizing and E-Commerce App

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Jenzy, a foot-sizing and ecommerce app that helps parents purchase properly fitting footwear for young children (ages 0-6) online, today announced that it has added ten new brands to its roster. In addition to the 12 brands it currently sells, which include iconic brands such as Livie & Luca and Pediped, parents who are sizing and shopping via the Jenzy app can now purchase shoes from brands including Footmates, Emel, Robeez, Keds, Saucony, Igor, Bogs and Florsheim. Tsukihoshi and Merrell shoes will be available starting Spring 2019.

Jenzy was established when its founders learned that 70 percent of kids are wearing the wrong shoe size, often due to growth spurts and sizing variability between brands. In addition, 30 percent of footwear purchased online is returned. The company's foot-sizing and ecommerce technology is revolutionizing the way parents shop for their kids' shoes, ensuring they get the perfect fit the first time.

"For over 50-years, Footmates® has built its reputation on classic styling, superior quality, and consistent fitting," said Brandon Gingerich, Director of Sales at Footmates.

"This remains a fundamental aspect of our consumer experience strategy. With consumers doing more research, and purchasing, online it is very meaningful to provide them accurate sizing information. We believe Jenzy could prove instrumental in this goal and help consumers have a better buying experience."

"At Emel we've spent the last 28 years crafting, educating, and promoting healthy shoes for growing feet, which is why we're thrilled to partner with Jenzy whose mission of putting kids in the right sized, developmentally appropriate shoes perfectly aligns with our brand," said Elaine Bengolea, Emel US Director of Operations. "As retail has changed in the last decade, we have found it a challenge to find retailers that prioritize proper fit with quality, healthy shoes. Jenzy has bridged that gap by providing the newest technology and ease of shopping online with the confidence that the shoes you've chosen will be the perfect size that your child needs."

With a total of 22 brands now offered through the Jenzy app in a variety of styles, the company is also launching its first bundling service to make the shoe buying process for parents even easier. Each season, Jenzy will offer bundles of three weather and age-appropriate shoes at a discounted price so parents only have to size and purchase shoes for their kids a few times per year. The bundles will be available for 25% off the retail price, saving parents $40 or more.

"We are thrilled to be bringing on board these 10 new brands," said Jenzy co-founder, Carolyn Horner. "Each of them provides quality, developmentally-appropriate options that we're proud to offer parents. We are always looking for ways to simplify and improve the shoe-buying experience for parents and now that we have a large variety of shoes on board, bundling shoes was a logical next step. We look forward to delivering a unique new solution for parents and think it makes a perfect gift for parents and grandparents in time for the holiday season."
