In this release, Meridian has focused on enhancing users' options for system personalization, career planning, classroom management, certifications, security, interoperability, and eLearning standards support.

Classroom Management ? Offers enhanced section creation workflows and a streamlined enrollment process, giving admins the ability to enroll large groups with ease. Other upgrades include optimized and expanded gradebooks with new assignment and content options.

Certifications ? Allows learners to certify (or recertify) based upon the number and/or type of credit hours.

xAPI Support ? Supports xAPI and storing of progress in Meridian's Learning Record Store (LRS) or a client supplied LRS.

Licensing ? Enhanced licensing capabilities allow organizations that sell or distribute content beyond their employee base to increase access to training and content to drive their revenue growth.

Security and Interoperability ? Key enhancements have been added to bolster security and interoperability, including multi-factor authentication, FIPS 140-2 compliance, and performance improvements to APIs and HRIS data connectors.
