Gaun First Catch Center Family Fishing Program
KIRWOOD, Pa., Oct. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Gaun First Catch Center will be providing a Family Fishing Program on Saturday November 3rd from 9:00am to 1:00pm at Octoraro Reservoir, Kirwood. The Gaun First Catch Center is sponsored by the PA Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) and the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation.
This program is designed for families with little to no fishing experience. Participants will learn basic fishing skills including knot tying, casting, bait and tackle rigging. Participants will also have the opportunity to go fishing. All equipment and bait will be provided. The fishing license requirement is waived for registered participants.

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission's (PFBC) Gaun First Catch Center (GFCC) is made possible through the generosity of the Samuel Gaun estate, and is operated in partnership with the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF). The Gaun First Catch Center provides opportunities to learn about fishing or improve existing skills in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.
