Billboard Charted Recording Artist Jordan Feliz to Help Raise Hope, Awareness and Funds for Macomb County's Needy

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich., Sept. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Top Christian recording artist Jordan Feliz and special guest Alisa Turner demonstrate the meaning behind their gospel with a benefit concert for Macomb County's needy. The show, for guests of all ages, will be held Sunday, September 23rd at the historic Emerald Theatre in Mt. Clemens (located at 31 N. Walnut St.).

Trinity Lutheran Clinton Township, the organizer of the event, chose these recording artists for their musical and personal achievements, including an impressive history of community service and spirituality.  Trinity and the artists agreed on the merits of three local non-profits as critical beneficiaries of the funds. They include MCREST (Macomb Country Rotating Emergency Shelter Team), Turning Point and Family Youth Interventions.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with a VIP artist "meet and greet" followed by the performances at 7 p.m. Trinity's Worship Team will also perform at the event.

"Jordan Feliz and Alisa Turner inspire and motivate others through the beauty of their spiritual message and kindness in performing to help people in right here in Mt. Clemens and across the world," said Ken Wise, senior pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church. "They truly practice what they preach. Trinity Clinton Township is proud to host them and we invite our entire community to experience the gift of giving through music."

Jordan Feliz is well-known for his hit song, "The River." His new album "Future," features the single "Witness," which topped Hot AC radio charts at number one and was a Top 10 song on Billboard's Christian Airplay Chart. Feliz has toured with  major artists such as Michael W. Smith, for King & Country, Steven Curtis Chapman, TobyMac, and Matthew West to name a few.

Special guest Alisa Turner shines on her album "Miracle Or Not," which features her hit "Miracle." Other hits include "Only My Jesus," a modern hymn co-written by Turner and Leslie Jordan (All Sons & Daughters), who also appears on the song, and "Louder" written with and co-produced by Hank Bentley (Matt Maher, Zach Williams) and Grammy Award nominee Michael Farren ("Trust In You").
