Papa George's Sausage Celebrates 20 Years of Making All-Natural, Preservative-Free Products

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwired - November 09, 2016) - Papa George's Sausage announced today that it will be celebrating 20 years of business during the upcoming holiday season. Since 1996 the Papa George's line of pork patty sausage rolls have been a staple in the meat cases of select supermarkets across the Midwest. This year marks the 20th year the Papa George's brand has been meeting consumer's need for a high quality, responsibly made food product.

For company founder George Ghanem creating a line of gluten free and preservative free pork sausage is a labor of love and the fulfillment of a dream.

"We take extreme pride in making an all-natural sausage that is reduced-fat but doesn't lack from a taste or consistency perspective," said Ghanem. "We are indebted to the consumers who have tried our product and continue to purchase it because of its high quality."

Ghanem took an unusual route to becoming a successful sausage maker. The Princeton University educated Ghanem with a degree in environmental physics believes in creating products that are healthy, made with the best ingredients and made with the utmost attention to quality and safety.

"It is possible to have a great sausage without using fillers or additives," he said. "We have worked very hard to find and use the best natural ingredients to ensure our sausage is the best around."

It is fitting that the Minnesota based company, Papa George's brand, is celebrating its anniversary during the Holiday Season.

"Sausage is an important component to many holiday meals. Our products are healthy enough to let people keep their traditions," said Ghanem. "From breakfasts to use in dishes such as stuffing's and casseroles, our product has a variety of uses while still keeping its fantastic flavor and consistency."

Papa George's sausage can be found at Cub and other select grocery retailers as far away as Omaha, Kansas City, and Chicago. Currently the sausage rolls come in five varieties; Regular, Sage, Hot, Italian and Maple.
