MONT-TREMBLANT, QC --(Marketwired - May 03, 2016) - As spring blossoms into summer, Tremblant turns a new leaf on May 20 by welcoming in the warmer months. Countless sports, music and gourmet events complement a full lineup of activities, fine addresses and celebrities to heighten the pleasure of every family member, all summer long.
Antoine Sicotte & Keifer Sutherland at Grill & Country, presented by Tremblant Gourmand
A rebel chef juggling a stoked grill, Jonathan Roy's acoustic duo, Jack Bauer does country and entertainment and activities from the mountain's summit to its pedestrian village -- now that's a Father's Day scenario that will be long remembered. All weekend long, Place Saint-Bernard becomes a hot spot for the Tremblant Gourmand team, in collaboration with village restaurateurs. On the menu are gourmet experiences hot off the grill along with discovery platters and surprise tastings. A must-attend: Antoine Sicotte, a.k.a. the King of BBQ, concocts divine morsels as he shares grilling tips and tricks on Saturday June 18, at 11 am and 3 pm.
Kiefer Sutherland brings his rich, soulful vocals and guitar licks to Tremblant Saturday, June 18 at 9 pm when he performs with a set list that includes cuts from his forthcoming Americana-tinged album, Down In A Hole, set for release this summer. It will be a not-to-be missed free performance during his Québec tour. Sutherland's sound is a mix of country with hints of famous bad boys Johnny Cash, Bob Seger and Kris Kristofferson. Jonathan Roy, whose music career has now meshed with Corey Hart's, plays the opening set in a ripping blend of pop, rock, indie and folk.
Rythmes Tremblant's New Family Take
This July 22-31 and for a 15th consecutive year, the village is set to resonate to les Rythmes Tremblant, a string of free outdoor shows that always has vacationers up singing and dancing! Ariane Moffatt and The Franklin Electric in Free Outdoor Shows
In addition to day-long family fun and festivities, this year's giant Canada Day celebrations include folk pop Montreal band The Franklin Electric, with the Laurentians' very own Foreign Diplomats playing the opening set. On Saturday August 27, the Place Saint-Bernard stage welcomes Ariane Moffatt and her powerful pipes as she presents 22h22, her latest pop electro album.
