Arts Council of Anne Arundel County Takes Steps to be the Official Resource for 'All things Arts'

ANNAPOLIS, Md., March 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Arts Council of Anne Arundel County (ACAAC) announces a major rebranding and website launch in time for the annual Gala for the Arts. The recently completed,  six-month project realigns the organization with the arts community and positions ACAAC as the sustainable resource for artists, students, galleries, and curators alike in Anne Arundel County.

They partnered with Symmetry Agency ? an Annapolis-based marketing agency ? and took a long look at their brand design and website, as well as how their programs, mission, and events were being communicated to the public. Together, the two organizations created a tasteful, updated brand and website that's not only user friendly, but functional. Ultimately, the revamp serves as an instrument in which consumers can find everything from art events to galleries, and where artists can discover resources like job openings, grants, and opportunities to exhibit.

"The goal of the Board was to have this rebrand be a game changer for the arts community," states ACAAC Executive Director, April Nyman. "We wanted the website to be a tool that everyone could utilize ? from local artists to county residents."

ACAAC seeks to promote the many cultural attractions found in our area, and make them available to the widest possible audience. Their goal is to build a vital coalition ? one that will raise funds necessary to stimulate and sustain our arts groups well into the next century. On April 6, 2019, ACAAC, local artists, and community members will gather at Live! Hotel & Casino to celebrate the Magic of the Arts during the 26th Annual Arts Council Gala, and show support for the local artists who make our county magical.

The Arts Council of Anne Arundel County is a registered non-profit organization existing to encourage and invest in the visual arts, performing arts, and historic preservation for the people of Anne Arundel County. ACAAC's vision is to be the premier resource of the cultural arts community.
