Umami Burger Debuts Latest Artist Series Collaboration With Award-Winning Italian Butcher Dario Cecchini
NEW YORK, Feb. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Umami Burger, the world-renowned premium burger brand from global lifestyle hospitality company sbe, is thrilled to announce its latest Artist Series collaboration with famed Italian Butcher Dario Cecchini on February 22nd. Cecchini has created 'The Butcher's Burger' as an exclusive culinary creation available at 16 participating Umami Burger locations nationwide through April 18th, 2019.
The announcement of this Artist Series collaboration comes after the incredible opening of contemporary sbe steakhouse Carna by Dario Cecchini at the internationally acclaimed resort destination Baha Mar in the Bahamas. The legendary eighth-generation celebrity butcher believes that all cuts of meat can be utilized when cooked properly, eliminating waste and promoting sustainability and will showcase this in his concept for Umami Burger.

Decadent and savory, 'The Butcher's Burger' features Mishima Reserve Wagyu Beef seasoned with Dario's Essence of Chianti Salt and Dario's Mediterranean Pepper Jelly Mostarda topped with crisp Boston lettuce, extra virgin olive oil, a dill pickle, fresh tomatoes and onions all between a fresh vegan bun.

Cecchini's Artist Series launch comes on the heels of AccorHotels commitment to open over one hundred Umami Burger restaurants at Accor properties across the globe by 2026. The announcement of this partnership follows news of the planned rollout of over 40 Umami Burger locations in Mexico (including four in Q1 2019), 20 more locations in Japan, several locations in the Middle East with two locations in Doha in 2019, and the recent opening of Umami Burger at the internationally acclaimed resort destination Baha Mar in the Bahamas.
