PITTSBURGH, Feb. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- "A friend of mine lost everything in a house fire, including his beloved pets," said an inventor from Bethlehem, Pa. "They were found behind the front door. Just imagining how they died broke my heart. I never want this to happen to anyone else, which led me to develop this idea."

He developed the SAVE-A-PET SYSTEM to offer protection for pets in the event of a house fire when homeowners are away. The system helps pets get out of danger without allowing them to get lost in the process. It also makes it easier for homeowners to find their pets after a fire. The invention safeguards pets against flames, smoke and other dangers. Additionally, it provides added peace of mind to pet owners. It would also help farmers, veterinarians and shelters.

The original design was submitted to the Lancaster sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
