Windsor Advantage Establishes Unique Loan Servicing Relationships

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- In early 2018, a financial fiduciary firm officially became Windsor's first client to convert their portfolio to Windsor's servicing platform after the firm was appointed by the Special Deputy Commissioner of the state of California as Receiver to liquidate a troubled lender's government guaranteed loan portfolio.  Following several months of Windsor's handling of 1502 regulatory reporting, the client sold a portion of the loan portfolio to a local certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that would soon require Windsor's full suite of outsourced services in order to more effectively serve low-income and underserved markets.  On behalf of the CDFI, Windsor currently services nearly 50 government guaranteed loans helping to create and preserve hundreds of jobs across the country, and Windsor is expanding its service offerings to additional CDFIs nationwide in 2019.

While traditionally focusing on turnkey solutions to assist banks and credit unions, Windsor's significant portfolio growth in recent years has created an opportunity for the company to expand its offering of customized solutions for additional classes of financial institutions.  The Lender Service Provider's portfolio has nearly doubled in dollar volume since surpassing the $750 million mark in August of 2016, reaching more than $1.3 billion as of January 31, 2019.  In addition to advancing Windsor's multi-faceted approach to government guaranteed lending solutions, the new relationship has allowed the CDFI to focus on its core business of promoting economic development in underserved communities.

"We are proud of Windsor's growth to this point and are excited to expand our role in empowering institutions that provide access to capital to small businesses in underserved communities.  This is a really positive and exciting step in the development of how we do business, and we're looking forward to working with more CDFIs in the years ahead," said Leonard Ray, Managing Director of Servicing and Operations at Windsor Advantage. "In particular, partnering with a CDFI whose mission is to deliver responsible and affordable lending makes perfect sense for our company.  We represent various types of government guaranteed lending institutions and our mission centers around a common theme, empowering those most in need of access to capital."

Since 2010, Windsor has processed over 3,400 government guaranteed loans through its outsourced lending platform which have helped create and preserve more than 51,000 jobs for borrowers in all 50 states.
