TOLEDO, Ohio, Jan. 19, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Hundreds of Ohio families will attend a school choice fair during National School Choice Week which will feature school booths and family-friendly activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26.

The fair will provide information not just about the various K-8 private, public, charter, and homeschooling options available to families, but also about different funding opportunities, such as the EdChoice Scholarship Program and Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund.

Admission and parking are free for the event, which will take place at the Franciscan Center at Lourdes University, 6832 Convent Boulevard, Sylvania, Ohio.

This event is planned to coincide with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2019, which will feature more than 40,000 school choice events across all 50 states.

"The Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund is excited to partner with National School Choice Week to present a school fair," said Ann Riddle, executive director of the Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund. "This fair will provide families a chance to learn about different educational options in our community for their children and how to fund them."

The event organizer, the Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund, is a need-based scholarship program serving students in grades K-8.

As a nonpartisan, nonpolitical public awareness effort, National School Choice Week shines a positive spotlight on effective education options for students, families, and communities around the country.
