E-file.com Announces Partnership with the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Jan. 10, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- E-file.com today announced a new partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars extending through the NFL offseason and the 2019 U.S. tax season. As a function of this partnership, income tax software will be supplied to all Jaguars employees, players and their families completely free of charge. In addition, E-file.com will provide a 50 percent off coupon code for E-file.com's tax software to every season ticket member who renews for the 2019 football season.
E-file.com was cofounded by North Florida natives and UNF College of Business graduates Aaron Rosenthal and Robert Reynard. E-file.com offers income tax preparation software that provides an efficient online filing process and helps taxpayers receive their refund faster while charging lower fees than the majority of tax preparers. Both E-file.com and the Jacksonville Jaguars are based in Northeast Florida, and this proximity has helped form a natural partnership between the two.

In 2017, the National Society of Accountants found that the national average fee to prepare an itemized 1040 tax return was $273. For taxpayers who do not itemize, the national average was $176. For those taxpayers with business income, the national average charged by tax preparers, increased to $457 per 1040 tax return.
