Verra Mobility Releases Crash Video to Warn Drivers About The Dangers of Red-Light Running

MESA, Ariz., Dec. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Smart and safe transportation mobility provider Verra Mobility has released its annual string of shocking footage of red-light running collisions and near-misses captured by its red-light safety cameras in communities across the country. This video compilation serves as an eye-opening warning about the dangers of reckless driving and red-light running.

An Institute study comparing large cities with red light cameras to those without found the devices reduced the fatal red light running crash rate by 21 percent and the rate of all types of fatal crashes at signalized intersections by 14 percent."
